Jeff Boehmer, CEF
Director, Domestic Business Development at Columbia Chemical
Jeff Boehmer, CEF, is the Director, Business Development, for Columbia Chemical, overseeing both domestic and global territories. He has more than 20 years of experience in surface finishing; with an extensive background in plating shop management and operations. He has earned the industry designation of CEF/Certified Electroplater-Finisher. Jeff previously managed a multimillion-dollar decorative POP shop and regularly lends his expertise to organizations looking to make the switch to decorative trivalent plating. Jeff serves on the board of Ohio Association of Metal Finishers (OAMF) and is an active member of NASF, serving on the SUR/FIN steering committee as well as the planning committee for bootcamp. He holds a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Mount Union College and an MBA from John Carroll University.
Brad Staples
Product Manager, Wear Resistant Coatings
Brad Staples is the Product Manager for the Wear Resistant Coatings group at MKS Atotech and has been with the company for almost 20 years. His specialty is Electroless Nickel and Functional Chrome; but he has also been involved with other applications in his career as well, such as Paint Pretreatment, Zinc Plating, and Decorative Plating. He has been in the plating and surface finishing industry for around 23 years overall; he graduated in 1999 from NC State University with a BS in Chemistry. His hobbies and interests outside of work include reading, building scale models, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
